Are the pieces hypoallergenic? Our 14k gold-filled jewelry has a thick layer of solid 14k gold over a core of jeweler’s brass, making it suitable for most people with sensitive skin. However, individuals with very sensitive skin may still experience reactions if they are allergic to the metals in the core. If you have a severe metal allergy, it might be best to opt for jewelry made from solid gold or other hypoallergenic materials. 

Is 14k gold-filled tarnish resistant?  Yes, gold-filled jewelry is more tarnish-resistant compared to gold-plated jewelry because of the thicker layer of gold bonded to the base metal. However, it can tarnish over time if not cared for properly.
